There is plenty of old recycled building materials in antique buildings, old barns and farm buildings that can be put to good use on new construction projects. Some of the wood in these century old buildings is some of the most beautiful wood in the world and has many applications. Much of the wood in these buildings is decades old and has come from old growth forests. As a result this wood has unique characteristics that new wood just can’t provide.
